"Our Photo Album"

A picture of some of our front liners outside the new station just outside Swansea.

"Great Granddaughter's wedding"

We take a patient to see her Great Granddaughter married in Surrey. Our Patient was very ill at the time and could not have gone by means other than an ambulance. Doctors had given the go-ahead for her to go under the strict understanding that she was cared for throughout the day by Medical Staff and that medication could be administered as per prescription requirements.

To the service, time for photographs and a bite to eat, then back to the hospital in time to watch "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". Chris Tarrant - you have a lot to answer for.

"Baby James"

This is James. His mum took a break to see her family in Holland and decided to go into labour at 26 weeks. Despite weighing just under a kilo, he was transferred back to Wales with the minimum of fuss and is now doing fine.

"Dean and Michelle tie the knot"

In August of 2004, we were very happy and proud to welcome Michelle into the family. Michelle has been a member of staff for the past four years and has just re-qualified as an Emergency Medical Technician. Dean has worked for the past seven years as an EMT and also as one of our chief Health & Safety Trainers. To many of you, Dean is well known for his antics and experience in training and casualty simulation. We wish them a long and happy life together.

"Our New, fully fitted Equipment Bay"

Though we've had the new station near Swansea for some time now, it is finally starting to take shape and turn into the station we always wanted it to be. The equipment bay is the most recent thing to be fully finished to our standards, and, along with the rest of the station, has been a very pleasing job to finish.
