Why do we need Medical Cover?

Any music festival, fairground, sports event, or any gathering or event you could possibly imagine has to be staffed and organized by someone. The fact that there are usually staff on site, as well as customers, means that these events are covered by the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and as such there needs to be some sort of First Aid support available on site. We can provide a full range of medical cover, from basic First Aid to fully qualified Medical Technicians, and even fully qualified Paramedics, all of whom have an extensive experience working at music and sport events.

"In the event of injury or sudden illness, failure to provide first aid could result in that person’s death. The employer should therefore ensure that an employee who is injured or taken ill at work receives immediate attention.

HSE will prosecute in cases where there is a significant risk, a disregard for established standards or persistent poor compliance with the law." -- source
