Medical Cover - Provisions

Equipment:

All of our employees handle high quality, up-to-date equipment. What equipment you will have at your event depends on the likely injuries and incidents that may occur (we will help you to decide what level of cover you need should you be unsure). Just a few examples of the equipment we can provide include:

- Extensive First Aid Kits
- Trauma (EMT) Bags
- Oxygen & Entonox
- Defibrillators, Suction units, etc.

Obviously a basic First Aider wouldn't handle all of this equipment alone, so the relevant staff are always to hand. For example for the administration of Entonox, we need to provide a qualified Emergency Medical Technician, who is licensed to administer the drug and has the relevant knowledge.

Vehicles:

We have a variety of response vehicles at our Station, all of which are suited to different situations and environments. We have fully-kitted Ambulances, 4x4s and Fast Response cars. You may decide on one ambulance as a base for a few First Aiders, or a range of vehicles and staff to cover all possible outcomes. We can assist you in your decisions and advise throughout the process on what we have found most efficient and beneficial during our experience in the field.

Staff:

From First Aiders to Emergency Medical Technicians, we have a wide range of abilities and specialties amongst our staff, but as well as this we have a good working relationship with Locums Unlimited (contact), who provide us with Paramedics. These Staff are State Registered, and as such they work with our technicians to provide a higher level of medical assistance. For more information please see the staff page here.

Experience:

We have been the preferred provider of medical cover for many organizations since 1994. We regularly attend the Royal Welsh Show, events at Cardiff International Arena, a variety of Horse shows, motocross, and other sporting events, and also we have attended to film sets and many other festivals. As such we are confident that we can adapt our service to suit any sort of situation and environment. Our staff are friendly and approachable, and they approach every case with complete professionalism.

Time:

When choosing your medical cover, we understand that you may need staff at any hour of the day. We are prepared to provide our cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will always find suitable staff who are willing and able to work whichever hours you require.
