Ambulance Staff

Experience
Our staff come from all walks of life, some have been with us for many years, others have come to us after pursuing other careers in various fields. Collectively, our Ambulance staff have over 150 years of experience in the Ambulance, Fire and Police Services, as well as other Medical and Emergency Professions. We also have a few members of staff who used to be carers for children and the elderly, and they share some invaluable knowledge with the rest of our staff regarding how to deal with certain issues which may arise with these patients. (For example, dementia, frailty, etc)
All of our staff have been to various events with us to provide medical cover as part of our team, meaning they all have first-hand experience of the dangers that can be faced whilst administering treatment and assistance.
As such, when hiring our staff, we don't simply train them from the ground up. Even our youngest staff members have had some sort of experience with patients in various forms, whether as a carer or during event cover as a First Aider.

Qualifications
We have a variety of levels of ambulance staff. The easiest way to explain the levels of qualification we have on staff is to describe the different Grades we use.
Grade A Staff: (Basic Qualification) This person is trained and considered competent to deal with patients that are unlikely to become emergency patients.
These staff have extensive knowledge of First Aid, Oxygen Therapy, and use of a Defibrillator. We use these staff for jobs such as taking low-care patients home from hospital.
Grade B1 Staff: (Intermediate Ambulance Technician) A person as above competent in ambulance aid but who has not attained the required experience to deal with emergency patients.
This grade of staff may be used for low-care repatriation, for example.
Grade B Staff: (Qualified Ambulance Technician) As B1 staff, but with the required experience to deal with patients of an emergency nature.
This grade of staff can deal with a higher level of care than Grade A staff would. It takes time and experience to reach this level, rather than qualifications on paper.
Grade C Staff: A person who has extended training above grade B and with the required experience to deal with advanced treatment and monitoring of emergency patients.
These staff are our Emergency Medical Techinicians. Whilst their training is ongoing, they have usually had at least a year's experience with us before we enter them for Technician training.
Dedication
As a private company, our reputation means the world to us. We are dedicated to maintaining and improving that reputation daily, and our staff all share that dedication. This is passed on to you, our clients, as you can be assured of a quality service and a worthwhile investment.
If you everhave any feedback for us regarding our staff and the service they provide, we encourage you to contact us. Any feedback is appreciated, good or bad. We need your input to know exactly how our service is improving, and how it may still need to be improved.
