January 1st 2006

We have a new design for the website, and along with this new beginning it seems only fitting to bring you up to date with what's happening at All Wales.

Back to Our Roots

At long last and after a massive expenditure, we have our newest station. All Wales Ambulance Services moved to Cwmbran in 2002 due to the fact that most of the work being carried out at that time was in association with The Gwent Hospitals NHS Trust. It made sense to be close to our largest client in order to be there on time with vehicles on site and crew living close to their place of work.

Since about March of 2002, the work has increased so rapidly that we were finding it more and more difficult to manage the quantity of work from one site and so it was decided that we transfer the hub of the business back home to Swansea. Although the Cwmbran station is still live, we now run our operations from the main base including the aircraft side of the business. Cwmbran station is manned 24 hours for repatriation calls.

Close to home, training facility on site, plenty of parking space, clean surroundings, larger office space and cleaning facilities make it somewhat more sensible, taking into account that we now operate internationally and not just locally.

New Dedicated Paediatric Unit sparks interest from NHS Trusts

The newest addition to the fleet. Built on a Ford Iveco chassis and cab with a Lazer body, the unit boasts full paediatric capabilities. Full resuscitation, Ventilation, Oxygen therapy, Monitoring, Defibrillation, and a state of the art incubator is all part of the unit which cost around £74,000:00 on the road. The unit has already caught the eye of a number of NHS Trusts from far and wide and is all ready to roll from January 2006.

Greatest thanks and best wishes to Charlton Park Horse Trials

where, once again, we were invited to provide medical cover
